Event Information
In (HIS)tory (…a still ongoing project) women have been excluded from paid work. Women have seen their contributions and legacies be erased and deleted, been held back from intellectual advancements and been forced to WORK, keeping women from pursuing creative dreams and aggravating even the formulation of such dreams and thoughts. This short film program shows a mixture of films in relation to the modern conception of working life. It portrays themes as: being the first, breaking the norm, being the inventor, creating space, dealing with male egos and in some cases – simply showing the absurdity of it. Summarized in a well-known melody, BFFW gives you: work, work, work, work, work.
