Event Information
Western patriarchal is influenced by dichotomous thinking. This means viewing things as one entity contains two different parts. The idea is so strong that it is affecting how a majority even perceives the world, e.g. man-woman/us-them/public-private/straight-gay. As most feminists know, these separations have severe consequences and prohibit e.g. life, love, and equality. BFFW presents a short film program with feminist filmmakers that connect our mental health with our physical movement in our everyday lives, breaking the separation between the body and the mind and showing once again that dividing, separating and othering are dangerous and hurtful practices.
