Director: Yuri Jang
Yuri Jang was born in South Korea. She studied traditional 2D animation and graduated with a BFA from Kyoto-Seika University in Japan. She made a film, “Thread,” that examines the plight of comfort women in Korea (women who were forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese army during WW II.)
Yuri is currently graduated from Animation MFA at University of Southern California. She enjoys creating illustrations that provide a glimpse into the character’s personal story. Yuri is available for work as a storyboard artist, concept artist, or animator.
