Rosario sees her days go by as caregiver for her ill husband. Silently, she bears the burden of a marriage that has dried up. No one in her family knows how she feels; everyone keeps up appearances. But a struggle has begun between her duty and her own desires.

This film will be screened in our short film program Life Goes On.

Director: Marlen Ríos-Farjat

Marlén Ríos-Farjat was born in Mexico City, on March 2nd, 1984. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting at Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, which allowed her to fund her artistic endeavors before enrolling at Centro de Capacitacion Cinematografica (CCC). Also, she has finished her Master in Film Editing at the Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC) in Terrassa, Spain. She is currently based in Mexico City, where she works as a film director, editor and script supervisor. And as a senior student at CCC, she is pre-producing her thesis film.
