The sometimes ambiguous territory of non consensual sex is delicately explored as the events of a date are revealed from two perspectives: A woman goes about her day while we hear a man describing his date with the woman, telling us about his day leading up to the date, the dinner, and then the ‘weird’ sex that followed. It’s evening and we watch her prepare herself for the date. We then hear her perspective as we watch the man going about his day leading up to the date; she describes how she was unable to say no to his sexual advances. In the final scene they meet for their date, nervous and full of anticipation.
